I initially had reservations about seeing a male doctor for my breast reduction surgery because it was a tremendously emotional decision for me, and I wanted to have a doctor who would be able to understand. I am so glad that I didn’t let that deter me from seeing Dr. Ben—he turned out to be compassionate, patient, and (despite not having breasts himself) was incredibly understanding of my process. His humor and easygoing manner made me feel so comfortable and at ease through the whole process. I’m glad I gave him a chance! I’m also glad that I went forward with the surgery—I had immediate relief from back pain, I’m more comfortable in my body, and Im enjoying the way my breasts look and feel more than I have in 20 years (since I passed cup size DD when I was in middle school). My only regret was not having the surgery years ago. When I had an allergic reaction to the glue used in my surgery I needed additional care, and Dr. Ben was easy to reach, returning my texts even on evenings and weekends. It was also easy to reach his office staff. They were all efficient, accommodating, and pleasant to talk to. I’ve had chronic illness and pain my entire life, so I have seen a LOT of doctors—Dr Ben and his entire office were definitely better than most. They helped me feel safe, calm, and confident while making a big decision. I think they are everything a doctors office should be (complete with hugs at every appointment) More
After years of enduring back pain with all kinds of treatments-NOTHING worked now even the months is spine injections. My blessing cam when my primary care doctor suggested that I may need to reduce the size of my breast to have some relief from the back pain. My angel- Dr. Ben changed my life! From my initial visit I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Ben assured me that everything was going to be O.K. Dr. Ben’s bedside manners made me feel like he had my best interest and my surgery was going to give me a new lease on life! That is exactly what has happened!!! What a difference I feel after having the bread surgery on June 29th. Not only has my back pain been eliminated but I love the new size of my breast! I will soon be able to purchase a bra in Victorias Secret!!!!! Thank you doctor Ben for your excellent work and your genuine kindness towards me.
