I’ve written and rewritten this multiple times to condense it down from being a novel. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ben. His father, Dr. Schultz, did my bilateral mastectomy back in 2018 so I knew right off the bat I was already in excellent hands with Dr. Ben. I went to see him after being so very frustrated with my reconstruction due to size, symmetry and a multitude of other issues for years. He listened intently and didn’t make me feel like a burden or rushed like I’ve felt so many other times in the past with other plastic surgeons. He was able to restore my confidence in myself and after many surgeries since my cancer diagnosis, this was hands down the quickest I have ever healed from a surgery. I don’t know how to adequately describe him through text but just know that if you choose him as your Doctor, it will be one of your very best decisions. His bedside manner is like none other and he makes himself fully accessible to you at all times which let’s be honest, is a major rarity nowadays! He is genuinely just a really kind human who makes you feel like family and that you’ve known him forever. I can only pray that he stays in this area for as long as he practices because the feeling of finally finding a plastic surgeon that “gets me” and is also incredibly skilled, is absolutely priceless! I have been and will continue to recommend him to everyone I know that needs either breast reconstruction or plastic surgery. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my care after finding him. I’ll never be able to thank him enough, that’s for sure! And let me just add, because I know this is a concern and issue for so many, his front office staff are all amazing as well! From scheduling appointments to helping get all of your ducks in a row leading up to your procedure, they make it an absolutely smooth and stress free process. More
I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ben Schultz for my breast reconstruction. I had a prophylactic double mastectomy due to having the BRCA2 gene. He always treated me like family and gave me his honest opinion in laying out my options & shared what he felt would be best & why. I was impressed with how promptly he responded to every question via text after surgery & appreciated his phone calls to check in. With his skill, professionalism & genuine care I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone searching for the best surgeon for breast reconstruction.
